267), today announced that they have formed a strategic
alliance to offer the full suite of Passport Trust Platform
security products and solutions to government agencies,
state-run lottery programs, suppliers of interactive
online games, and other potential end customers throughout
the Greater China market. The new joint sales and marketing
agreement allows CPCNet to distribute Diversinet Passport
Trust Platform products while providing Diversinet with
potential revenue streams through license deals, subscription
pricing, and/or transaction services beginning in early
2005.
Prompted by the explosive growth of the mobile phone
market in China, CPCNet will distribute Diversinet Passport
Trust Platform products in The Peoples Republic of China,
Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macao. Through this joint sales
and marketing agreement CPCNet will provide first-line
support, and the two companies will work together to
develop vertical solutions, leveraging their respective
strengths in response to the demands of the market.

Passport Trust Platform is a standards-based security

Passport Certificate Authority allows the deployment
of secure applications such as e-mail, messaging, secure
ID and information delivery to any mobile device including
Palm, Windows Mobile Pocket PC, Symbian and Blackberry
wireless handhelds. The software complies with the Chinese
digital certificate standard, which enables it to be
the first foreign product in China that can deliver
a viable, secure mobile business solution.
