Mr. Chung-ming Shek joined CITIC Pacific Communication in mid. 2001 and is the executive vice president, engineering of CPCNet. In this capacity he is responsible for all technical issues in business development and operation.

Prior to joining CPCNet, from mid 2000 to early 2001, he built a 2000 square meters carrier-class data center, and was also responsible for all the operations of the center.

From 1995 till 2000, Mr. Shek was responsible for the Group desktop and LAN service of Cable and Wireless Hong Kong Telecom. His job responsibilities included design and planning, and customized projects. In 1995 he was the project manager of setting up the IT and telecommunications infrastructure of Hong Kong Telecom Tower.

Mr. Shek has been in the electronic industry since 1980 with more than 25 years in IT and telecommunication sector after his graduation from Hong Kong Polytechnic. He is a Chartered Electronic Engineer and Member of IEE.
